September Workshop 2023

Our first Demonstration/Workshop of the MAS year got off to a flying start with guest artist Patricia O' Brien. She spent the first hour showing us how she produces her lovely and colourful prints. Then we all had the chance get our hands dirty experimenting with her techniques and producing many satisfying and creditable pieces of work. Great fun was had by all and Sue will definitely feature in one of our future programmes.

May 20 Workshop
A delightful workshop with Sue Nicol who showed us how to use texture paste in our oil paintings. A former teacher, Sue created a beautiful landscape with light and depth and introduced us all to 'pigment sticks' to add vibrancy to our pictures. She went on to highlight her techniques for painting buildings, trees and seascapes.
