Graham Short 'My Life as a Micro Artist'

Graham Short provided us with a fascinating insight into his life as a micro artist. His highly entertaining talk took us through the steps he takes to produce his microscopic work on his specially commissioned pin heads. He lowers his heart rate by swimming 5,000 to 8,000 metres every day as well as beta blockers and Botox in his eyelids to reduce any uncontrolled movement. He works under a surgeon's microscope and can take months to produce a finished piece - costing thousands of pounds.
